While Adopt A Mutt does not have official 501c3 non-profit status, we certainly are non-profit. All of our vet and kennel expenses are paid out of the pockets of our few volunteers. If you would like to make a donation to help us with these bills it will be greatly appreciated. 100% of your donations go to caring for our animals, we are all volunteers and have no administrative costs. If you would prefer to make a payment directly to our kennel to help pay our bill there, please e-mail us for information on how to do so.
The number of dogs in our program is at an all time high and the number of adoptions we are doing is at an all time low. And so our kennel bill is soaring. If you have ever thought about donating now's the time. While there never seems to be enough money to rescue all the dogs we would like to, we seem to be in a tighter pinch now than we have been in a long time. For more info on how to help just scroll to the bottom of this page. No amount is to small and (obviously :) no amount is to large. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated.
We are always in need of dog food. In addition to feeding our own dogs we try to send as much food as we can to a small rescue group in San Carlos, Mexico, to feed the many strays there. We also need wire and plastic crates to keep our animals safe and secure when home alone as well as to transport them safely to our adoption events. We never seem to have enough large collars and leashes for all our dogs. We would love to have a digital video camera to show clips of our dogs on the website. Carpet remnants and rubber-backed throw rugs make our doggies much more comfortable in their kennel. And dog food. We especially need dog food and more dog food.
